This study found that while many participants in Wakiso district, Uganda have heard of antimicrobial resistance and understand the difficulty of treating infections caused by resistant microorganisms, there are gaps in knowledge and practices related to the use of antimicrobials in humans and animals, highlighting the need for interventions that adopt a One Health approach to address this issue.
