This study of 12 international neurosurgical centers found that surgical management for prolactin-secreting tumors had a low complication rate and high local control on imaging, but previous surgery and pharmacotherapy, as well as cavernous sinus invasion, were significant predictors of intraoperative complications and endocrinological cure.
