This study developed a high-performing electrocatalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction in water-splitting, consisting of Ru nanoclusters optimized by cobalt single atoms and N,S co-doped reduced graphene oxide, outperforming most noble metal-based HER electrocatalysts.
