This study developed a high-performance anode material, PPNM hydrogel, for microbial fuel cells (MFCs) using PEDOT:PSS and nitrogen-modified MXene, exhibiting a 332% increase in peak power density and supporting the growth of more electrochemically active species compared to a carbon felt anode.
