This study of 10,000 cases of living donor liver transplantation in Japan found that a graft-versus-recipient weight ratio (GRWR) of 5 or higher in pediatric recipients and a GRWR of less than 0.7 in adult recipients with relatively old donors are associated with worse outcomes, and should be managed with caution.
