Natural language processing (NLP) of electronic health records (EHR) can accurately extract and provide three times more forced vital capacity (FVC) values than pulmonary function test (PFT) equipment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis-interstitial lung disease (RA-ILD), facilitating pharmacoepidemiologic research.
