This study on Czech participants with a normal sense of smell found that trigeminal event-related potentials (TERPs) differed statistically in amplitude between genders, but olfactory event-related potentials (OERPs) showed no significant differences, suggesting that evaluating the presence of OERPs could be crucial for assessing olfactory disorders.
