This study found that artificial intelligence (AI) scoring of liver biopsies showed similar results to human pathologists in assessing histological improvement with the drug semaglutide in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) patients, and additionally detected an antifibrotic effect of the drug that was not measurable by conventional histopathology.
