This study describes the development and implementation of a learning needs assessment for nursing professional development practitioners based on the 2022 Association for Nursing Professional Development Scope and Standards of Practice, which identified areas for educational improvement, barriers to nursing professional development, and critical competencies for knowledge acquisition.
