The study found that women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and healthcare professionals have identified issues with current mHealth technology for GDM self-management, including poor usability, data visualization limitations, lack of personalization, limited information, and lack of communication facilities, and highlighted the importance of involving women with GDM in gathering requirements for such technology.
