This study reports a nickel-catalyzed reductive coupling and SN2 synergistic strategy for the simultaneous preparation of sulfides/selenides and sulfones using allyl/benzyl bromides and thiosulfonates/selenosulfonates, featuring excellent atom and step economy, mild reaction conditions, broad functional group compatibility, and high yields.
