This study used all-atom simulations to show that the icosahedral capsid of Flock House Virus has flexible protein subunits and RNA fragments, with the γA subunit and RNA fragment being the most flexible, and that water moves bidirectionally through the capsid shell, possibly facilitating structural transitions necessary for RNA release during the viral life cycle.
