“Per-and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in Edible Fish from Pakistan’s Indus Water System: An Analysis of Distribution Factors”

Per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances were found to be present in edible fish species from the Indus water system in Pakistan, with the highest levels observed in S. seenghala, C. mirigala from HB, and C. mirigala from HQ, and significant associations with isotopic composition, feeding habits, and zones indicate that dietary proxies could be an important predictor of PFASs distribution among species.
