The study found that dialysis patients (DP) are at risk for a strong decline of SARS-CoV-2 receptor binding domain (RBD) antibodies after successful mRNA vaccination, and this decline also depends on the vaccine type used, with BNT162b2mRNA being a risk factor compared to 1273-mRNA vaccine type, suggesting that booster vaccinations for DP should be considered earlier compared to the normal population.
