“Non-awake Time in Latency to Persistent Sleep Consistent with Subjective Sleep Onset in Patients with Psychiatric Disorders”

This study found that 12 minutes of non-awake time in latency to persistent sleep (LPS) is the most consistent with subjective sleep onset in patients with psychiatric disorders, but a longer duration of 19.5 minutes should be considered if there is comorbidity with moderate or severe obstructive sleep apnea.
