This study developed a novel assay strategy using α2,3-sialidase and immunoaffinity LC-MS to selectively quantify the biotherapeutic zinpentraxin alfa in the presence of its endogenous α2,6-linked isomer SAP in plasma samples from idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis patients, enabling accurate pharmacokinetic assessment.
