This retrospective study of 72 patients with brain metastases treated with single-fraction stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) found a reasonable 1-year local control for radiosensitive metastases, but poor local control for radioresistant metastases, with a greater volume of metastases and radioresistant histology negatively impacting local progression-free survival.
