This study developed a sensitive and accurate triple-modal CRISPR/Cas12a biosensor that can detect drug-resistant bacteria, such as MRSA, by utilizing colorimetric, photothermal, and fluorescent signals, with a limit of detection of 101 CFU/mL when combined with recombinase polymerase amplification.
