The updated CO + CO potential energy surface with improved asymptotic behavior is only slightly different from the other popular surface and provides reliable results for low-energy inelastic scattering calculations, although it may differ by a factor of 2-3 for weaker transitions at lower collision energies in comparison to full-quantum calculations.
