This study found that decreased gene expression of PSMC4, SKP1, and HSPA8 is strongly associated with Parkinson’s disease in a Mexican-Mestizo population and developed a gene expression model using these markers that shows potential as a diagnostic tool, particularly for early-stage Parkinson’s disease.
