This retrospective cohort study found that prepectoral tissue expander placement in postmastectomy radiation therapy may result in increased mean percentage area of pectoralis “hot spots” and 100% dose delivery, while subpectoral placement may lead to larger mean areas of pectoralis “cold spots.”
