This study used in-silico analysis to show that a quercetin, a derivative of Allium sativum (garlic), has the potential to be a more potent drug molecule than others against the bacterium Aeromonas hydrophila, which is a common cause of disease in aquaculture, and could provide a basis for drug discovery against other pathogenic bacteria.
