This retrospective analysis of WHO MPOWER tobacco control policies in India from 2015 to 2021 shows that while there have been improvements in some areas such as health warnings on cigarette packages and adult daily smoking prevalence, there has been no progress in smoking-related policies, and overall, substantial improvement in fewer sections is required.
