“Early Endoscopy in Anticoagulant Patients with Acute Gastrointestinal Bleeding: Clinical Outcomes and Impact”

In patients taking anticoagulants with acute nonvariceal upper gastrointestinal bleeding, early endoscopy (within 24 hours) is associated with higher rates of endoscopic treatment, shorter hospital stays, and increased intermediate/intensive care unit admission, but does not affect the need for surgical intervention, recurrent bleeding, or 30-day mortality.
