The study found that people living with HIV in northwest Spain who are young, male, born in Spain, have severe immunosuppression, prior diagnosis of condyloma acuminata, and HPV-16 infection are at a higher risk for developing anal dysplasia and high-grade squamous-intraepithelial lesions (HSILs).
