This umbrella review of 20 systematic reviews found low-quality evidence that telemedicine interventions, including exercise, education, and psychological treatments, have varying effects on pain intensity and disability in musculoskeletal pain conditions, with most effects favoring telemedicine. However, high-quality primary RCTs are needed to confirm these findings and assess safety, videoconferencing effectiveness, and the combination of different treatment approaches.
