The study found that food cravings and aversions are common during pregnancy among women in the Buenos Aires Conurban, Argentina, with fruits, sweet foods, meats, and mate being the most commonly craved or avoided foods, and young age, vomiting, and weight gain being associated with cravings, while the absence of hypertension history, history of macrosomia, nausea, and complications during pregnancy are associated with aversions.
