The presence of cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in breast cancer is associated with worse prognosis, decreased CD8+ T cells, and increased sensitivity to certain anticancer drugs, suggesting the potential of CAFs as prognostic and predictive biomarkers and the value of CAF-targeted therapies.
