This study explores the immune interactions between the Schistosoma japonicum parasite and its intermediate host snail Oncomelania hupensis, and comparatively analyzes the immunological research progress in other schistosome-host snails, to provide insights and clues for further research and development of prevention and control strategies for schistosomiasis.
