This study introduces a single-shot detection scheme for Terahertz Field-Induced Second Harmonic (TFISH) Generation in plasma filaments, using an optical probe beam to mix with the ponderomotive current associated with laser-induced ionization, allowing for the detection of incoherent and coherent THz inside plasma filaments.
