This systematic review found that while dissociative symptoms have been implicated in the severity of ICD-11 Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD), further research is needed to determine the most appropriate measure(s) of dissociation in CPTSD due to inconsistent reporting and the use of various measures in assessing dissociative symptoms.
