“Clinical features associated with nail unit melanoma in patients with longitudinal melanonychia”

This study suggests that certain clinical features, such as high band color intensity, variegation, nail plate splitting, Hutchinson sign, and band change, are indicative of nail unit melanoma in patients with longitudinal melanonychia, and nail plate splitting is associated with increased Breslow thickness.
