Maternal use of illicit drugs during pregnancy is associated with increased prevalence of certain childhood cancer subtypes, including intracranial embryonal tumors and retinoblastoma, and moderate to heavy alcohol consumption is associated with elevated prevalence of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
