“Neurocognitive Alterations, Socio-Environmental Factors Contribute to Apathy After Traumatic Brain Injury”

This systematic review and meta-analysis suggest that complex neurocognitive alterations, socio-environmental and cultural factors, and patients’ self-related factors may be important contributors to apathy following moderate-to-severe traumatic brain injury, while TBI-related and patient demographic factors are less associated with apathy.
