This study used whole-exome sequencing to compare the somatic genomic landscape between central- and peripheral-type non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLCs) without EGFR, ALK, or ROS1 alterations and found that central-type NSCLC tends to evolve at a higher level and may suggest a favorable response to immunotherapy.
