This study utilizes simulation-based artificial neural network, response surface methodology, and non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II to determine the optimal conditions for algal biomass film, NO3-N concentration, and pH in a membrane bioreactor for efficient aquaculture wastewater treatment, and finds that the region with highest alkaline pH and lowest NO3-N content is the most optimal.
