This abstract describes the development and testing of a pH-responsive in situ gel made from sodium alginate, deacetylated gellan gum, calcium citrate, and Bletilla striata polysaccharide, which shows promise as a sustained-release treatment for peptic ulcers, effectively alleviating inflammation and maintaining mucosal barrier integrity without significant side effects.
