Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) may offer a more effective and safer treatment for functional dyspepsia by regulating various signaling pathways, such as SCF/c-Kit, 5-HT, CRF, AMPK, TRPV1, NF-κB, and RhoA/ROCK2/MYPT1 pathways, which can improve gastrointestinal motility, alleviate anxiety, accelerate gastric emptying, reduce visceral hypersensitivity, and improve duodenal micro-inflammation.
