This study suggests that among people with type 2 diabetes, those with obesity have different patterns of 24-hour movement behaviors (including less sleep, light physical activity, and moderate to vigorous physical activity and more sedentary time) compared to those who are overweight or normal weight, and that reallocating time from sedentary behavior to moderate to vigorous physical activity or light physical activity may benefit cardiometabolic health in this population.
