“Dissociation between Cerebral Hemodynamics and Cognitive Impairment in Early Stage of Mild Stroke: A Study”

This study found that in patients with mild stroke, cognitive performance and pulsatility index differed between the acute and subacute phases, but changes in cognitive and hemodynamic variables were independent of each other during the acute phase, suggesting a dissociation between cerebral hemodynamics and cognitive impairment in the early stages of mild stroke.
