“8% Acetic Acid during Colposcopy Increases Detection of Cervical Precancerous and Cancerous Lesions Compared to 5% Solution”

This study found that using 8% acetic acid concentration during colposcopy can increase the detection rate of cervical precancerous and cancerous lesions, especially in women with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions, compared to 5% acetic acid concentration.
