“Efficient Method for Calculating Lead Self-Energies in Quantum Transport”

This abstract describes a new method for calculating lead self-energies in quantum transport calculations, which improves efficiency by avoiding mode velocity calculations and is shown to be more computationally efficient than existing methods when the number of propagating modes is above a certain threshold.
