This study compares parametric and non-parametric methods for estimating joint confidence regions of hypervolume under the ROC manifold and generalized Youden index in biomarker evaluation/diagnostic studies, and evaluates their performance through simulations and a real data set from the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative.
