The introduction of H2O and O2 during the low-temperature gas-phase sulfation of organic COS + CS2 improves the NH3-SCR activity of the sulfated CeO2-OS catalyst by enhancing the conversion of sulfur-containing species and creating surface oxygen vacancies, but decreases its surface area and pore volume.
