Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is effective in treating knee osteoarthritis, alleviating pain, enhancing joint function, and increasing range of motion, with optimal results seen when PRP has a mean platelet concentration of 4.83 to 5.91 times higher than the baseline whole blood platelet concentration.
