This study found that ultrasound-guided dorsal penile nerve block (DPNB) plus sedation in spontaneous breathing is a time-saving, safe, and effective technique for managing intraoperative and postoperative pain in children undergoing circumcision, resulting in decreased time to discharge, reduced opioid use, and lower pain levels.
