Under-5, infant, and neonatal mortality rates in Xicheng district of Beijing, China, have significantly decreased from 1991 to 2022, with the leading causes of death being congenital heart disease, birth asphyxia, and other congenital abnormalities, and the two-child policy not affecting the overall decreasing trend.
