Four patients with human papillomavirus (HPV)-related or cystic squamous cell carcinomas metastases in neck nodes from cancer of unknown primary (CUP) and elevated mutagen sensitivity had good outcomes, but developed second and third distant site metachronous primary cancers of different histologic origins.
