This study used whole-transcriptome analysis to identify three novel glucose metabolic subtypes of colorectal cancer, with the C1 subtype being the most aggressive and sensitive to immune and PI3K-Akt pathway inhibitors, and confirmed SFRP2 and THBS2 as biomarkers for this subtype.
