This study demonstrates a method for templating the location of self-assembled nanostructures in oxide nanocomposites using ion lithography, enabling control over the distribution and manipulation of magnetic domains in a nanocomposite of ferroelectric BiFeO3 and ferrimagnetic CoFe2O4.
